Plenty of Golems expands Minecraft with more than twenty golems, split into craftable helpers and ancient bosses you track down in the wild. The mod leans on GeckoLib for its animations, so every construct moves and attacks with real personality instead of a stiff retextured iron golem. What the Plenty of Golems mod adds

Golems fall into five tiers. Small and Medium golems are built at a crafting table, while Giants, First of, and Ancient golems hide inside structures out in the world and have to be awakened. That split gives you a steady early game of craftable defenders and a late game built around exploration.

Small golems you can craft

Candle Golem throws light into dark caves and sets nearby enemies on fire, which makes it a handy early base defender.

Barrel Golem rolls into mobs as a living battering ram and doubles as portable storage when you need a chest on the move.

Medium golems with real punch

Honey Golem sprays a sticky stream that slows anything it hits and sometimes pulls bees into the fight.

Blast Furnace Golem scorches mobs inside a small radius, ideal for thinning crowds at a choke point.

Nether Golem mixes melee swings with explosive fists, and is one of the strongest craftable options in the mod.

Giants and First of golems

These tiers do not come from a crafting table. You hunt their structures in the world, then wake them from stone sleep.

Obsidian Golem guards a hidden structure. It fires rays at distant targets and, when mobs close in, unleashes a devastating area attack.

First of the Village lives inside its own structure. Its area stun leaves enemies wide open for your follow-up hits.

Awakening the giants

Giants and First of golems sleep inside generated structures scattered across the world. Walk up, trigger the awakening, and the golem joins your side with its full move set intact.

There are more golems beyond these highlights, including hostile Ancient bosses that fight back when disturbed.

How to install Plenty of Golems

This is a Forge mod, so install Minecraft Forge first. GeckoLib is required for the animations, so grab the GeckoLib build that matches your loader and drop both jars into your mods folder. Launch Forge and start building golems.
