Spiritual Armor and Protection From Attacks

Being a ghost does not make you invincible. If a mob or another player hits you while you are in spirit form, you receive the Spiritual Protection effect, which wraps you in a temporary Spiritual Armor set. That armor stays active until you reach your items or the Panicked Spirit effect fades, giving you a fighting chance if the path back is blocked by enemies.

The Spirit Flower, Blessings, and Curses

At the exact spot where you died, a spirit flower blooms. Walking near it clears all of your spiritual effects, which is handy once you have recovered your gear and want to return to normal play. Breaking the flower is where the risk comes in.

You have roughly a 50 percent chance to gain the Spooky Advantage blessing, which heals you for about 15 seconds. There is also a smaller chance (around 5 percent) that you get hit with the Mysterious Force curse instead. That curse launches you into the air and lets you fall, leaving the outcome to gravity and however much armor you managed to keep.

Pairing It With Grave Mods

Spiritual Come Back is designed to complement grave and corpse mods rather than replace them. If you run something like Corpse or GraveStone Mod that stores your items on death, this mod stacks cleanly on top. You get the spirit form to travel back safely, then collect your things from the grave once you arrive. The author specifically notes compatibility with these death-handling mods, so you can keep your preferred loot-recovery setup and add the ghost sprint as a bonus layer.
