The God Mod introduces a chilling new horror: a divine (ish) being that watches your every move from the skies above, silently judging your actions and keeping score of your moral choices. What might seem like typical Minecraft gameplay suddenly carries the weight of heavenly judgment.
How The Mod works:
Imagine looking up and catching a glimpse of something observing you from above. That’s the reality of The God Mod. This entity isn’t just for show, it’s actively tallying your deeds, calculating your worth in a system known as karma.

The deity itself is completely invulnerable, there’s no fighting back against this celestial judge. Instead, players be careful of every decision that can hold consequences. Should your karma plummet too low, there’s no hiding and no escape, you’ll forfeit your “right to life”.

The Karma System:
The karma mechanics in The God Mod are brilliantly simple yet profound:
- Defeating hostile mobs earns you +1 karma point
- Killing non-hostile creatures costs you between 1 and 15 karma points
“Atoning for your sins is much harder than committing them,” as the mod’s philosophy goes. It’s this asymmetry that creates such compelling gameplay—one impulsive decision can require hours of careful redemption.

24 Divine Interventions:
The God Mod features 24 unique events that can be triggered based on your karma standing. While these events remain mysterious until experienced firsthand (that’s half the fun!), they range from beneficial blessings for the righteous to horrifying consequences for the wicked.
