Demi's Sky Arena Mod is a wave survival mod for Minecraft that builds massive fight structures high above the ground. You track them down, trigger the altar, and survive escalating mob waves for keys, loot, and milestone trophies. It is a combat gauntlet built around two custom battlegrounds.

The mod currently ships two arenas, each floating about sixty blocks over its biome:

• Sky Arena, hovering above deserts and badlands
• Ice Arena, suspended over snowy plains, ice spikes, and frozen oceans

How the Wave Battles Work

Step onto an arena and you will see an Altar of Battle in the center, a sword like block planted in the ground. The loop is simple once you know the steps.

1. Activate the altar with empty hands to start the first wave.
2. Survive the mobs it throws at you.
3. Clear the wave to claim a Reward Key.
4. Use the key on any empty chest to fill it with loot pulled from dungeon pools like Ancient Cities, Bastions, and End Cities.
5. Click the altar again to push the difficulty higher and start the next round.

Difficulty Scales Without a Cap

Every win cranks the challenge up. Early rounds throw a few zombies and skeletons at you. As you climb, the pool shifts toward elite mobs and the numbers get unforgiving.

Once the monster count caps out, their stats start scaling instead. There is no hard ceiling past level 100, so the longer you survive, the more brutal it gets.

Extras That Make the Fights Worth It

The arenas are not just about surviving. A few mechanics give each run extra flavor.

• Set the mood. Right-click the altar with a Music Disc to pick the fight track, or use a Stick to stop it.
• Read the arena. An Analyzer item shows the current stat multiplier, mob groups, and config.
• Reset the run. Overwhelmed? A Netherite Ingot drops the difficulty back to level 1.
• Collect trophies. Clear levels 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 to earn trophies that grant buffs like Haste, Speed, Resistance, and Regeneration.
• Lose cleanly. Die or leave the arena and every mob vanishes. No half finished fights waiting for you.

Tune Everything in the Config

Nearly every number in Demi's Sky Arena Mod is exposed through sky_arena.json. You can add your own arenas, set which mobs spawn, control arena radius and stat growth, and rewrite the reward tables and summon points to fit your pack.

Pairs Well With Other Mob Mods

The arena pulls spawns from whatever creature mods you have installed, so it scales naturally with bigger modpacks. Drops from L_Ender's Cataclysm, Mowzie's Mobs, or the wild biomes of Alex's Caves all show up in the wave lists, which keeps every run feeling different.
