Working the Brewing Station

The brewing station is where grain becomes drink. It is a multiblock setup with a large brew kettle and a furnace attached to it. Drop in two sacks of dried grain plus some hops, fill the kettle with water, then walk over to the stove section and fire it with coal. Brewing takes several seconds and asks you to pay attention. Small events fire at different parts of the station while it runs. The furnace can lose heat and need more coal, or the kettle can overheat and demand that you scoop out some water. React in time and you walk away with a quality pour. Growing and Using Hops

Hops grow wild in taiga biomes, including taicas added by worldgen mods that use the #is_taiga tag. To farm your own, build a frame of two fence posts three or more blocks tall and connect them with a rope. Plant the hops at the lowest point of the rope on farmland and let them climb. Higher frames give a better yield, so build upward when you have the materials.

The Brew Festival and Festive Attire
