Earth Mobs | Minecraft Earth Creatures Mod
Earth Mobs Mod for Minecraft adds the lost Minecraft Earth mobs, from muddy pigs to climbing zombies, hostile bone spiders, and tameable baby ghasts.
The Earth Mobs Mod brings back the creatures Mojang designed for Minecraft Earth, the discontinued mobile AR game. Many of those mobs never made it into Java Edition on their own, so this mod ports them back as fully working entities with their own items, blocks, and behaviors. You will run into muddy pigs in swamps, hostile bone spiders in dark forests, and a small tameable baby ghast deep in the Nether.
Muddy Pigs, Mooblooms, and Flower Forest Friends
The Muddy Pig is a pig variant covered in mud. To produce the mud fluid around it you craft a Mud Bucket and use it on the ground. Each Muddy Pig wears a flower that matches a vanilla dye color, and shearing that flower hands you the matching dye. Drop the pig into water and it reverts to an ordinary pig.

The Moobloom and Moolip are two friendly cattle variants that spawn in Flower Forests. Shearing either one yields buttercups, which you can brew into suspicious stews for handy status effects.

The Cluckshroom is a chicken with a mushroom cap that wanders mushroom biomes. It sometimes lays Smelly Eggs, which you can throw to slow enemies and occasionally hatch a baby Cluckshroom. Shearing one drops red mushrooms, making it a tidy early food and mushroom source.

Hostile Mobs That Change How You Travel
Not every Earth mob is friendly. The Bone Spider lurks in dark forests and fires bone shard projectiles that apply different debuffs depending on the bone type. Its eyes can be brewed into the Undead Body Potion, which temporarily turns the player into an undead creature and lets you walk among hostile mobs unnoticed.

The Bouldering Zombie spawns in mountain biomes and scales walls and cliffs to reach you, which makes elevated bases far less safe. The Lobber Zombie can appear in any biome and lobs rotten flesh at you from range. The Skeleton Wolf haunts forests at night, hits harder than a vanilla wolf, and can be tamed and healed with bones or rotten flesh. In the Soul Valley you can also encounter a wither skeleton wolf variant.

Neutral Mobs and Tameable Companions
The Jumbo Rabbit roams forests, deserts, and plains as a bulked up rabbit with extra health, more hide on death, and a guaranteed rabbit foot drop every time.

The Tropical Slime swims through oceans with a tropical fish visible inside it. You can place a caught fish into the slime using a bucket, which turns it into a mobile, swimming aquarium of sorts.

A pig struck by lightning becomes a Zombified Pig, a neutral mob that adds a small surprise to thunderstorm farming.

The standout companion is the Baby Ghast. It spawns in crimson forests as a pocket sized ghast, and you can tame it with Crimson Roots or Crimson Fungus. Once tamed it follows you and lobs small fireballs at anything that attacks you.

The mod rounds out its roster with creatures like the Melon Golem, the Megame Cow, and the Fancy Chicken, each adding fresh sources of food, resources, and the occasional new hazard.

How to Install Earth Mobs
Earth Mobs runs on Forge and NeoForge, so pick the loader that matches your game version and grab the matching JAR from the project page. The steps are the same as a standard mod install, and a fuller walkthrough lives in the how to install Minecraft mods guide. If you run a Forge based pack you may also want the Minecraft Forge primer, and players who want more ambient wildlife often pair this with Critters and Companions or Enchant With Mob.
Earth Mobs FAQ
Is Earth Mobs still being maintained? Yes. The project page shows its latest update landed in June 2026, and the author baguchiMC continues to push releases for current game versions. Check the project page for the exact current build.
Does it need any other mods to run? Earth Mobs depends on the Bagus Lib library mod, which is listed in its relations. Drop both JARs into your mods folder or let your launcher resolve the dependency for you.
Can I tame the Baby Ghast? Yes. Feed it Crimson Roots or Crimson Fungus and it will follow you, and a tamed Baby Ghast shoots small fireballs at hostile mobs that target you.
Are the Minecraft Earth mobs faithful to the original game? Mostly. The behaviors, items, and visuals track the cancelled Minecraft Earth designs closely, with a few tweaks so they fit survival Java gameplay.
Is it safe for a server? Earth Mobs runs on both client and server. Make sure every player on a multiplayer world installs it, plus the library dependency, so mob behaviors stay in sync.
