[Let's Do] Bakery Mod | Bake Bread & Sweets
Bake bread, cupcakes and tarts in Minecraft with the Let's Do Bakery mod, plus crafting stations, decor and sweets that boost your speed and strength.
[Let's Do] Bakery turns Minecraft kitchens into working pastry shops. Knead dough, proof loaves in a real oven, and fill cake displays with sweets that grant short, stackable speed and strength buffs. It is the baking companion to the wider Let's Do series and pairs cleanly with food mods like Farmer's Delight and Candlelight.
Breads, Cupcakes, Cakes and Tarts
The mod adds a full pastry menu, and most of it doubles as placeable decor. You bake standard loaves, sweet cupcakes, layered cakes and fruit tarts, each with a slice variant so you can serve guests piece by piece. Jam rounds out the spread and gives long shelf life to your harvest.

Each cake and tart has a slice variant.

Saturated foods fill the hunger bar faster and slow hunger drain, which makes them ideal for long caving trips. Sweets work the opposite way, trading saturation for a short speed and strength burst that stacks up to ten times. Eat too many at once and the trade is brutal, but a couple before a boss fight can swing the fight.
Crafting Stations and Ingredients
Three stations carry the whole baking workflow. The small cooking pot handles jams, chocolate and other runny delights. The oven, which comes in several visual styles, bakes every bread and cake and renders the items inside so you can watch them brown. The baking station assembles cakes, cupcakes and pastries from raw dough.

Five new ingredients anchor most recipes, and two of them grow in the wild. Forage strawberries in temperate biomes and craft oat seeds from wheat and bonemeal to start your own grain field.

Strawberry and oat seeds can be found in the wild.

Decorative Blocks and Displays
A bakery needs a storefront, and the mod ships the furniture for one. Cake stands and bread baskets show off finished goods, while glass cake displays, bread racks and cupcake displays hold up to eighteen items as visible inventory. Outdoor cafe furniture lets you build a patio, and most breads and pastries can be placed straight on a counter as decor.

How to Install [Let's Do] Bakery
Pick a mod loader (Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt) and install it for your game profile. Add Architectury API and the [Let's Do] API library, both required dependencies for the mod. Drop the Bakery jar into your mods folder and launch the game with your loader profile.
If you have never set up a modded profile, our how to install Minecraft mods guide covers the mods folder location and loader setup in detail. Running Fabric? The same steps apply, just keep your loader and dependency versions matched.
[Let's Do] Bakery FAQ
Is [Let's Do] Bakery still being updated?
The standalone Bakery project is archived, so no new updates are planned for it. The baking content lives on as an extension of [Let's Do] Farm & Charm, which continues to receive updates on the newer branch.
What dependencies does it need?
You need Architectury API and the [Let's Do] API (Do API) library. The newer Farm & Charm compat version also requires [Let's Do] Farm & Charm as a base.
Do the sweets actually do anything?
Yes. Sweets grant a short speed and strength boost that stacks up to ten times, so they work as a combat or travel aid in a pinch. Saturated foods do the opposite, filling the hunger bar faster and slowing hunger drain.
Can I display food on shelves?
Cake displays, bread racks and cupcake displays hold your baked goods as visible items. A finished bakery looks the part, and most breads can be placed straight on a counter.
Does it work with Farmer's Delight and Candlelight?
Yes. Bakery shares compatibility hooks with Farmer's Delight, Candlelight and other food mods in the Let's Do series, so recipes and ingredients flow naturally between them.
