Minions Remastered brings back AtomicStryker's classic Minecraft Minions mod for modern Forge. You craft a Master Staff, summon up to four imps, and order them to chop forests, dig mineshafts, raid chests, and herd livestock while you sit back and direct the chaos.

What the Minions Remastered Mod Does

This is an official continuation of the original Minecraft Minions mod, made with AtomicStryker's blessing. The BrassAmber Mods team rebuilt the imp-command system for modern Minecraft, keeping the same evil flavor. You earn a Master Staff, spawn a small squad of minions, and hand out orders through a mouse-driven menu. Each imp runs a threaded, multicore-capable A* pathfinding system, so it navigates terrain and tracks its target without hand-holding.

Earning the Master's Staff

You do not start with a staff. Reach experience level 8 first, then press M to perform four evil deeds. Each deed costs two levels and nudges you further down the dark path. Finish the fourth deed and the Master Staff drops into your inventory. That staff is the only tool you need to spawn and command your imps.

With the Master Staff in hand, you hold the key to spawn and control your minion army. Your minions become an extension of your will, ready to execute your commands to perfection.

Spawning and Banishing Your Imps

To spawn a minion, left-click while looking at the ground. A menu appears that you navigate by moving your mouse.

You can only field four minions at a time by default, though the config file lets you adjust that cap.

Banishing a minion works the same way. Left-click while looking at the imp and it vanishes, dropping whatever it carried.

Orders You Can Hand Your Minions

Open the same summoning menu to pick an order. Point at what you want affected, choose the command, and the imp gets to work. The Dig Mineshaft order is a favorite, carving a vertical shaft downward while the imp strips nearby precious ores and even recognizes blocks added by other mods.

To stop a running order, open the menu again and hit Stop order. The imp drops its task and waits for the next command.

Routing Loot to a Container

Minions fill their inventory fast, so set a dump chest and let them empty themselves automatically. Open the minion menu, choose Set Container, and right-click a chest from a distance. The imp will walk over and drop its loot inside on each return trip.

You can also charge the staff like a bow to call minions back to your side, right-click an imp to make it drop its items, or left-click one for a "work incentive" that speeds it up.

Installing Minions Remastered

This is a Forge mod, so install Minecraft Forge first, then drop the mod JAR into your mods folder. How many minions can I have at once?

Yes. The strip-mining order detects precious ores including ones added by other mods, and the chopping order fells large trees and modded logs alike.

Is Minions Remastered multiplayer friendly?
