ParCool! | Parkour Movement Mod
ParCool! is a Minecraft parkour mod that adds wall runs, vaults, slides, and a stamina system so you can move through the world like a traceur.
The ParCool! mod turns Minecraft movement into a genuine parkour sandbox. Instead of sprinting and jumping the vanilla way, you wall run between buildings, vault fences, slide under gaps, and cling to cliff edges with smooth third person animations. It is a Forge and NeoForge client mod built for players who want momentum and flow while exploring, escaping mobs, or clearing custom obstacle courses.
Inspired by classic movement overhauls like Smart Moving, ParCool adds a long list of athletic actions, a stamina bar to keep them balanced, and a deep configuration menu so server hosts and modpack makers can tune everything. The latest release line is 3.4.3.x, and the project stays current with new Minecraft versions.
What the ParCool! mod actually adds
Every action has its own animation and its own key bind, and most of them chain together once you learn the timing. You press a key, your character reacts, and momentum carries through into the next move. That flow is what separates ParCool from a basic double jump or step assist mod.
New Movement Abilities - Wall runs, pole climbing, rolling and more let you navigate like a true traceur.

Parkour Animations - Dives, rolls, cat leaps, and other skills are animated for immersive first or third-person views.

Stamina System - A stamina bar requires players to carefully manage exertion during runs and complex moves.

Configurable Options - Players can tweak options like stamina drain and unlock requirements to fit their playstyle.

The parkour actions, one by one
ParCool! brings authentic parkour mechanics to Minecraft for fluid movement and navigation. Mastering these skills takes practice and timing, but each one opens up a new way to cross terrain that vanilla Minecraft never offered.
Roll: Absorb landing impact and maintain momentum through a body roll. Pair it with a high dive and you walk away clean instead of taking fall damage.
Safety Tap: Bend your knees on landing to cushion the impact. A forgiving option when you misjudge a drop.
Cat Leap: Jump and grab onto walls or elevated surfaces for scaling obstacles you cannot quite reach.
Pole Climb: Ascend vertical structures like poles and fences with agility and control.

Crawl: Navigate tight spaces and move stealthily through low areas.

Dive: Enter a special jumping animation with dynamic diving and sky diving motion, triggered by pressing the jump key mid dive.
Dodge: Evade obstacles or attacks with quick bursts of directional movement.
Fast Run: Increase your overall speed while running.

Flip: Work front or back flips into your flow for style points.
Horizontal Wall Run: Run laterally along walls for a unique animation and better navigation across gaps.
Wall Run: Jump vertically using a wall, great for a quick escape or extra height.
Hang Down: Dangle beneath surfaces by gripping ledges or edges.
Quick Turn: Pivot rapidly on your axis for faster changes of direction and to keep your flow going.
Slide: Squeeze through narrow spaces with increased speed by holding a low crouch.
Wall Jump: Gain extra height off walls by kicking away with your legs.
Wall Slide: Descend walls with style by staying in contact with the surface.
Vault: Clear fences and walls with several vault styles, including speed vaults and kong vaults.
Clinging to cliffs: Grab cliffs and edges with different styles and animations so vertical traversal feels natural.

How to install ParCool!
Because ParCool runs on Forge and NeoForge, the install path is the standard loader workflow. Pick the loader that matches your game version, since Forge builds cover the older releases and NeoForge covers the newer ones.
- Install Forge or NeoForge for your Minecraft version first. Our Forge guide and NeoForge walkthrough walk through the launcher setup.
- Download the ParCool JAR that matches your loader and game version.
- Drop the JAR into your
modsfolder inside the game directory. - Launch the game with the Forge or NeoForge profile and press
Alt+Pin world to open the settings menu.

Configuring the mod and reading the guidebook
ParCool ships with a large in game settings panel. Press Alt+P to open it and you can toggle individual actions, adjust stamina drain, set unlock requirements, and tune the feel for your server or modpack. Server hosts get the same controls, which makes it easy to balance parkour for multiplayer or a minigame map.
There is also a full tutorial guidebook. If you add the optional Patchouli mod, the guide becomes readable in game (it costs one book and three feathers to craft). The same guide is published on the project source repo for anyone who wants to read it in a browser.
Optional companion mods
ParCool works on its own with no required dependencies, but it can talk to a few other mods when you want deeper integration. These are all optional.
- Patchouli adds the in game guidebook described above.
- Paragliders can serve as the stamina system on supported versions.
- EpicFight can provide the stamina system on its supported versions.
- Elenai Dodge 2 (Feathers) works as a stamina source on its supported versions.
- BetterThirdPerson and ShoulderSurfingReloaded fix a few animation and camera bugs, though the author notes these are experimental.
Drop in whichever of these fit your setup. None of them are required for ParCool to run.
