Kawaii Dishes is a decoration and food mod that leans hard into the maid café aesthetic, adding coffee plants, desserts, kitchen appliances, and a wardrobe of cosmetic outfits with subtle status effects. You grow and brew your own drinks, run a Barista villager profession, and dress the part while you serve.

Build a Maid Café Menu From Scratch

The bulk of the mod is new food and drink you can craft, brew, and plate up. Coffee plants generate naturally in the world and work a lot like sweet berry bushes, handing over up to three Coffee Fruit per harvest. From there you can press fresh coffee in seven flavors.

The dessert case is where things get indulgent.

None of that food appears by magic. Kawaii Dishes adds the blocks and machines you need to actually run a café. Craft a Coffee Press and Coffee Machine for brewing, drop a Blender and Ice Cream Maker for cold drinks, and set out colored stools, mugs, glass cups, and milkshake cups to serve guests.

The Coffee Machine doubles as a villager workstation, unlocking a Barista profession. Villagers will buy and sell items from the mod, and wandering traders occasionally show up selling Coffee Fruit, so you can source ingredients even when your own plants are still growing.

Cosmetics With Real Gameplay Effects

The outfits are the other half of the mod, and they are not purely visual. Each set grants a small perk, and mobs can even spawn wearing them as armor (though the effects do not apply to mobs).

• Bunny tails and ears give Jump Boost I and remove fall damage
• Fox tails and ears grant Speed I
• Cat tails and ears add a Neko effect that pushes creepers away
• Devil tails and horns stop Piglins from attacking you
• Maid dresses grant a Kawaii effect with a chance to pop a friendly message

You also get colored thigh highs, two types of shoes, colored maid dresses with tailed variations, colored headbands with eared and horned styles, and a bunny girl suit that the mod itself tells you not to question.

How to Install the Kawaii Dishes Mod

This mod runs on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. The install path is the same as any other JAR mod, so the exact steps depend only on the loader your pack already uses.
